Provide overall instrumentation, controls engineering technical leadership and expertise. Interface with existing Onshore and Offshore Operations organizations to support brownfield modification scope; Steward EPC Contractor and Licensor activities with respect to instrumentation, controls scopes including: Detail instrumentation engineering; Development of instrumentation logic and loop diagrams; Development and design of the I&C system; Development of the schedule, recommended deliverables and labor hour estimate for instrumentation; Measurement and reporting of physical progress; Selection, specification and inspection of instrumentation components; Procurement of tagged items, including preparation of specifications, bid evaluations, bid tabulations, bid recommendations, etc.; Instrument specifications, logic and loop diagrams; Compliance with design methods and safety factors to be used in design of the project (reviews of the completed design for correctness compliance, and operability); Operability of the unit or plant for start‑up, normal, turndown, and shutdown modes (reviews or sets design basis for abnormal operating conditions); Technical bid tabulations for instruments and instrumentation systems; Support for shop tests and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), protocols and events as well as site testing; Review, evaluate and advise PMT and Operating Company staff concerning; Participate in I&C technical specification preparation and bid tabulations; Participate in Hazardous Operations (HAZOP), P&ID reviews, SIL assessment and verifications; Brings to the attention of both the DCS/Instrument Engineering any significant concerns regarding the EPC Contractor’s or vendor’s performance which includes quality control, schedule control and scope of supply; Supervises the EPC Contractor’s design for the instrument and control system facilities and systems that are specifically under the role's responsibility; Communicates with other PMT instrument and control system engineers to ensure a well-integrated control systems design; Provides coverage for other PMT instrumentation and control system engineers when they are absent from the EPC Contractor’s office; Communicates with Operating Company personnel on matters relating to the maintenance and operation of the new facilities and their interfaces to existing facilities; Assist PMT in meeting corporate and project management system requirements; Supports and actively participates in various reviews, such as Design Reviews, CERetc.
