Senior Data Analyst

As a Senior Data Analyst you will play a key role in leveraging data to drive strategic insights and decisionmaking processes. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in data analysis particularly in utilizing tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in Qatar for more than a year possessing a deep understanding of the local market dynamics and business environment. The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to extract analyze and interpret data providing actionable recommendations to support business objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract insights from large datasets using tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize key performance metrics trends and patterns for various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements define KPIs and develop datadriven solutions to address business challenges.
• Conduct thorough data validation cleansing and transformation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Perform adhoc analysis and data mining to identify trends anomalies and opportunities for process optimization and business growth.
• Interpret complex data sets and present findings and insights in a clear concise manner to nontechnical stakeholders including senior management.
• Develop predictive models and forecasting techniques to support strategic planning and decisionmaking processes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices emerging trends and advancements in data analytics technologies and apply relevant knowledge to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data infrastructure ensure data integrity and streamline data extraction and processing workflows.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on data analysis methodologies tools and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a minimum of 2 years of experience preferably in a similar role in Qatar.
• Extensive experience working with data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or QlikView.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including data manipulation formula creation and pivot table analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract actionable insights.
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis data modeling and machine learning techniques.
• Experience working with SQL databases and querying languages.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
