Review and interpret FOPM mechanical assembly drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure clear understanding of product requirements.
Lead and coordinate the shop floor assembly team in efficiently building products according to design and drawings.
Identify and resolve assembly line issues including troubleshooting mechanical problems and implementing corrective actions.
Work collaboratively with design engineers to clarify design intent and provide feedback on manufacturability. Thorough understanding of DFM & DFA.
Develop and implement assembly procedures ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes including revisions and updates.
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with experience in leading shop floor assembly.
Strong understanding of mechanical assembly principles and practices.
Excellent knowledge of mechanical drawings GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical problems.
Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures.
Strong communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
