Job Description

Overview:

The role of MBBS RMO (Resident Medical Officer) is crucial in providing primary care and medical support to patients within a healthcare facility. The RMO works closely with other medical professionals and plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of highquality healthcare services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting medical assessments and examinations of patients.
  • Diagnosing and treating medical conditions under the supervision of senior physicians.
  • Monitoring patient progress and updating medical records.
  • Providing emergency medical care and stabilizing patients.
  • Assisting in medical procedures and surgeries.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Providing medical advice and counseling to patients and their families.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Participating in continuous medical education and training.
  • Ensuring compliance with medical protocols and standards.
  • Supervising junior medical staff and interns.
  • Adhering to patient confidentiality and ethical medical practices.
  • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the facility.
  • Assisting in the implementation of infection control measures.

Required Qualifications:

  • MBBS degree from a recognized medical school.
  • Completion of an internship or residency program.
  • Valid medical license and registration.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) or ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
  • Knowledge of medical ethics and legal regulations.
  • Excellent clinical skills and ability to make sound medical decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in medical documentation.
  • Ability to handle highpressure and emergency situations.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Understanding of infection control practices and protocols.
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and hours.
  • Adherence to professional conduct and confidentiality.
