Your Role as a Pharmacy Accuracy Checker

In the position of Pharmacy Accuracy Checker you will:

  • Conduct final checks on all dispensed medication ensuring complete accuracy and compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Work closely with pharmacists and pharmacy assistants to maintain a high level of safety and efficiency within the pharmacy.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to pharmacy staff on dispensing practices to minimise errors.
  • Keep uptodate with pharmacy regulations and standards to ensure all practices within the pharmacy comply.
  • Assist in maintaining pharmacy records and documentation to support accurate dispensing and auditing processes.
  • Contribute to the training and development of pharmacy staff regarding accuracy and best practices in medication dispensing.

Who is the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with:

  • A solid foundation in pharmacy knowledge preferably holding a pharmacy accuracy checking qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a pharmacy setting with a strong focus on accuracy and safety.
  • The ability to work meticulously under pressure demonstrating high levels of concentration and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills capable of delivering constructive feedback and training to colleagues.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about the latest industry standards and regulations.

Working Hours & Benefits:

This role offers flexible working hours with the requirement to be available for shifts week one Monday to Friday 8:30am 6pm week 2 Tuesday to Friday 8:30am 6pm & Saturday 8:30am 5:30pmensuring a healthy worklife balance.
