Lead Mechanic Milton Keynes

Salary: 13- 14 depending on experience and performance

What You'll Do:

• Lead a team of +8 Mechanics while assigning daily tasks as needed and ensuring work flow is efficient and thorough.
• Perform a variety repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement.
• Maximise the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned
• Identify issues and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles
• Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse
• Evaluate performance of your team and give performance feedback
• Receive additional training to become a great mechanic!
• Oversee and train new mechanics while maintaining a team oriented environment and integrating new mechanics to the team
• Additional job related tasks as assigned

About You:

• Experience leading a team/ managing staff
• Ideally some background in the automotive/ transportation industry
• An Electrical engineering or mechanic background - qualifications such as Cytech level 2 or similar are hugely advantageous
• Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 30kg on a frequent basis required
• Ability to operate a mobile device including having knowledge of in app-based workflows. iOS experience preferred
• Good communicator with the ability to read and follow instructions
• Willingness to learn, a great attitude and ability to work well with others - teamwork is key to success!

Shifts times are 7:30am - 15:30pm

• Various shift patterns available

Pay :

• From 13- 14
• Paid weekly
