Job Description:
NB Global Solutions acting as the General Contractor supplies proprietary prefabricated steelframed panelized volumetric and modular building systems to our clients delivering a turnkey building solution. We are looking for a qualified Project Manager to manage existing/future projects and assist in growing the company. Qualified candidates should have experience submitting public and private contract bids procurement logistics knowledge and connections within various building sectors including government hospitality education medical and residential/commercial.
Qualifications:
Substantial and extensive experience with overseeing the planning management and execution of multiple projects ranging from different sizes and magnitude
Welldeveloped interpersonal written communication presentation and organizational skills
Excellent client servicing and relationship management abilities
Reliable selfmotivated goal oriented organized driven and professional
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well in teams and quickly make decisions
Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
Willingness to assume ownership and accountability
Able and experienced in directing project staff and assigning duties and responsibilities
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Experience in development and submittal of RFPs/RFQs bid review and assessment and contract award in cooperation with purchasing resources
Excellent resource management skills to be able to analyze budget data to identify trends and improve the cost effectiveness of team processes and practices
Minimum 1015 years of successful experience in a related field and successful demonstration of knowledge of key responsibilities as presented above
Tasks:
Lead a team of project managers and collaborate with clients to plan execute and deliver successful projects ensuring all objectives and expectations are met
Oversee the endtoend project lifecycle from conception to execution ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards
Develop comprehensive project plans including detailed timelines resource allocation and risk mitigation strategies
Monitor project progress identify potential roadblocks and proactively take corrective actions as necessary
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
Understand client objectives and requirements to translate them into comprehensive plans and strategies to successfully execute the project
Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update clients on project progress address concerns and provide recommendations
Manage client expectations and effectively communicate project deliverables timelines and budgets
Track and control project expenses negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage partner relationships to optimize costs
Oversee project schedules and tracking charts (e.g. GANTT chart)
Evaluate and provide supervision management mentorship and guidance to Project Managers
Delegate tasks and responsibilities ensuring efficient utilization of resources and maximizing productivity
Providing strategic and operational advice and guidance as requested by the Company s executives
Responsibilities:
Coordinate resolve or assist in resolution of conflicts and other issues within and between project teams and recommend/provide solutions
Anticipate client needs identify opportunities and collaborate with the BD team to generate additional business
Support development of departmental budgets and business plans for functional areas
Provide guidance support and feedback to team members encouraging their professional growth and development
Foster a culture of innovation continuous improvement and excellence within the team
Prepare accurate and detailed financial reports for clients and senior management
Provide and active support role in maintaining client relationships and sales opportunities
Report directly to the VP of Operations with all aspects of the project reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree or higher (or relative experience)
At least 1015 years of industry experience (site construction and/or prefabricated building industry experience)
Knowledge in all facets of construction including but not limited to civil structural foundation utilities finishes etc.
Experience in managing and overseeing projects of all sizes
Must live in close proximity to an international airport and be able to travel (up to 50%) as required (domestic and international)
Proficient with Microsoft suite (Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook Teams)
Proficient with CAD drawings and Architectural and Engineering plans
Past experience capability and willingness to work remotely
