Business Development Manager
Field Sales Card Payments
We are Business Development Managers (BDMs) who will join the field sales team within a leading payments company. This role is pivotal in expanding the client base and enhancing market presence across the UK. The ideal candidate will be a driven sales professional passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Visits: Regularly visit potential and existing clients to understand their needs present our payment solutions and close sales.
- Sales Development: Work closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to identify new sales opportunities and nurture leads through the sales pipeline.
- Cold Calling: Engage in cold calling and other prospecting techniques to generate new leads and appointments.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends competition and potential areas for growth.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to targeted markets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong longlasting client relationships ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities pipeline and performance.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: Upto 40000 per annum.
- OnTarget Earnings (OTE): Up to 80000 per annum based on performance.
- Car Allowance/Company Car: Option for a car allowance or a company car to support travel needs.

Requirements:
- Proven field sales experience ideally within the payments or financial services industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience working with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and leveraging CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently manage time effectively and travel extensively across assigned regions.
- Driven resultsoriented mindset with a commitment to meeting sales targets.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as required.
