Responsibilities

• Teach Art to students delivering engaging and innovative lessons in line with the curriculum
• Inspire and motivate students to develop their artistic skills and appreciation for art
• Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes creativity and selfexpression
• Assess and evaluate student progress providing constructive feedback and support as required
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement crosscurricular projects and initiatives
• Manage the art classroom and resources ensuring a safe and orderly learning environment
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding students progress and achievements

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in Art Education
• Demonstrated experience teaching Art in a primary or secondary school setting
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
• Passionate about art education and able to inspire students to explore their creativity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues students and parents
• Organized and proactive with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons effectively
• Commitment to continuous professional development staying informed about the latest developments in art education.
