Job Description: IR Tech

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IR Tech (Interventional Radiologic Technologist) to join our Imaging Department in Augusta GA. As an IR Tech you will be responsible for operating specialized radiographic equipment to assist physicians in performing minimally invasive procedures. This position offers flexibility in day shifts with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Salary: $2200 $2500 per week!

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Start Date:

• Day Shifts: April 22nd 2024

Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional radiology procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Assist physicians during procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Operate specialized radiologic equipment in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures for interventional radiology.

Will be paired with other IR technologist working Day shift schedule (8Hrs) Monday Friday. Along with rotating days oncall (1 day per week and every 5th weekend) for primary call with a call partner. Back up call occurs the day following primary call and is rotated with call partner. Results in back call being half the amount of primary call.
