Medical Scribe

• Shifts Available: Days 8 hours MondayFriday possibly 1 day remote 40 hours/week
  
• Work Location: Hybrid; Palo Alto CA
  

• Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters in realtime including medical history physical examinations diagnostic test results and treatment plans.
  
• Navigate and update electronic health records ensuring that all information is inputted correctly and in compliance with relevant regulations.
  
• Input and update patient information prescription details and other relevant data into the healthcare system.
  
• Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient encounters.
  
• Maintain organized and uptodate patient charts making it easier for healthcare providers to access relevant information during patient visits.
  
• Act as a liaison between healthcare providers and other members of the healthcare team ensuring that information is communicated effectively.
  
• Possess a strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately document and interpret healthcare professionals notes.
  
• Work efficiently to keep up with the pace of patient appointments ensuring that documentation is completed promptly without compromising accuracy.
  
• Provide training and orientation to new healthcare providers on the use of electronic health record systems and documentation procedures.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
  
• Bachelor s Degree strongly preferred
  

• RN Registered Nurse
  
• BLS Basic Life Support
