Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in the renewable energy sector. As an Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within your designated region with a specific focus on the solar PV industry. Your primary objective will be to develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets while also fostering strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share in the solar PV industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory including lead generation prospecting and networking.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing product development and operations to support sales initiatives and drive business growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends market developments and competitor activities to inform strategic decisionmaking and maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports forecasts and analyses to senior management highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.
- Provide training guidance and support to sales representatives and distributors within the region to optimize their performance and enhance overall team effectiveness.
- Represent the company at industry events conferences and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Engineering or a related field.
- 34 years of proven exp in sales with a demonstrated track record of success in the solar PV industry.
- Strong understanding of solar energy technologies products and services as well as knowledge of relevant market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and colleagues.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team with a resultsoriented mindset and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) for sales tracking and reporting purposes.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory as needed.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
