We are currently looking for an experienced QA Lead to join our clients dynamic team. We are looking for an individual who is highly skilled in both manual and automated testing with a strong background in FinTech and preferably trading or related experience. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in software quality assurance including test planning and execution. If you fit this description we would love to hear from you!

The Role
  • Lead the QA team in designing implementing and executing comprehensive test plans for trading software applications ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers business analysts and product managers to understand requirements and develop test strategies that align with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industrystandard tools/frameworks with a focus on efficiency scalability and maintainability.
  • Perform manual testing activities including functional testing regression testing and exploratory testing to identify defects and ensure software stability.
  • Analyze test results track defects and work closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Mentor junior QA team members providing guidance on testing best practices automation techniques and domain knowledge in the finance industry.
  • Stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and regulatory changes relevant to trading software testing and incorporate them into the QA process as needed.
The Person
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Finance or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on testing trading or financial software applications.
  • Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies tools and frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills with proficiency in languages such as Java Python or C# for test automation.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium Jenkins Appium RestAssured or similar.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets trading processes and regulatory requirements (e.g. SEC FINRA MiFID II).
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a track record of successfully leading QA teams and driving process improvements.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB CFA or FRM are a plus.
