Lead Preschool Teacher

HighQuality Preschool located in Benton Harbor is currently looking for a Classroom Program Director/ Lead Preschool Teacherat our River of Life location.

Position Summary:
Teaches preschool children in a classroom setting providing academic instruction that is developmentally appropriate for preschool aged children and utilizes all resources available that prepares children with school readiness skills. Ensures that the classroom is successful and is in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and Michigan Licensing Rules for Childcare Centers. Implements curriculum ongoing observation assessment and child outcomes systems consistent with program policies and the Head Start Performance Standards. They work as a partner with families in health attendance and education of their children.

Education Requirement:
Minimum AA degree in Early Childhood Education
Desired BA degree in Early Childhood Education

Related Experience:Experience teaching in an Early Childhood setting and supervisory experience
