Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Maths department ensuring the delivery of an outstanding and challenging Maths curriculum
• Provide instructional leadership and support to Maths teachers fostering a culture of academic excellence
• Monitor and track student progress in Maths implementing effective interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative approaches to Maths teaching
• Mentor and coach Maths teachers promoting their professional growth and development
• Contribute to the schools Maths program and extracurricular activities
• Maintain accurate records of student assessments attendance and behavior

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Specialization in Mathematics or a related field Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education (preferred) Extensive experience in teaching Mathematics preferably in a leadership role Indepth knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team Strong communication organizational and problemsolving abilities Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping uptodate with the latest advancements in Mathematics education
