Job Title: Application Support Analyst

Job Type: Contract; FullTime

About the Company:

Our client is a Crown corporation providing specialized and personalized financial services to farming operations. Our client offers financing insurance software learning programs and other business services to producers agribusiness owners and agrifood entrepreneurs across the country.



Responsibilities:

The consultant will

  • Provide second level support for incidents originating the clients operations and other business teams.

  • Monitor the incoming incident queue and work with multiple support and development team members to resolve the issue in a timely fashion.

  • Provide analysis and documentation of investigation and findings.

  • Route ongoing incidents to the appropriate team.

  • Be involved in any SEV 12 high priority issues and any subsequent RCAs (root cause analysis).

  • Monitor production systems (online and batch) for alerts and errors provide notification if necessary.

  • Monitor automated BAU activities.

  • Create product Features & KB articles as required.

  • Provide support for the clients system users.

  • Build and execute SQL queries for fixing data and/or finding data.

  • Be involved in team meetings and process discussions as required.

  • Work in a distributed team environment.



Requirements:

Required Experience

Knowledge and experience with

  • Multiple product/project teams to analyse and troubleshoot customer/employee facing issues

  • The creation optimization and execution of SQL scripts

  • Releases and release coordination activities

  • Documenting knowledge articles related to outstanding product defects and workarounds

  • Monitoring production alerts and actioning as required

  • Creating and executing data queries

  • Working in a distributed team environment

  • Good understanding of testing principles and concepts

  • Hands on experience with large business system software

  • Relating system logs and alerts to user outages

  • Debugging software applications

  • Working with databases such as Oracle

  • Working within company Security policies and Standards


Required Skills:

  • SQL

  • Service Now

  • Creating/documenting Change tickets

  • Creating stories in JIRA

  • Querying data from multiple databases






Specific Project Requirements: The company s Small Segment team is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and agile Change Advisor to support Small Segment initiatives by developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic change requirements in this space. The Change Advisor will play a key role in ensuring employee adoption and usage. The Change Advisor will focus on the people's side of change including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Change Advisor will work with initiative teams and leaders to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes. Skills: Top Skills Required: Demonstrate specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in change management consultancy. Excellent facilitation skills with ability to influence change at higher levels. Ability to quickly understand and gauge corporate climate and culture. Excellent communication skills. Other Skills Required: Excellent project management, prioritization, and organizational skills. Experience with change management in an Agile environment Assets: Minimum 7 years experience in employee and/or organizational effectiveness or change management. Advanced knowledge of organizational effectiveness or change management principles and practices. Change management certification or designation. Strong understanding of Financial institutions and/or previous experience providing change management support for financial institutions
