The GRC Software Trainer is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to clients and stakeholders on the implementation utilization and optimization of the software solutions. The Trainer plays a critical role in ensuring endusers understand the functionalities features and benefits of the software and can effectively integrate it into their workflows to enhance their Governance Risk and Compliance processes.


  • Reporting to: Head of Services
  • Working environment & travel: Exceptionally busy teamorientated environment. Driver s license and own transport is essential. Possible travel into the rest of Africa.
  • Working hours: 08h00 to 16h30 training hours are usually 09h00 16h00 training times may vary when training in the rest of Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Deliver engaging and informative training sessions and webinars to clients and endusers across Africa on various aspects of the Diligent One software including configuration administration reporting and troubleshooting.
  • Develop Training Materials: Design develop and update training materials including user guides manuals and online resources to support the implementation and usage of the Diligent One software.
  • Customize Training Programs: Tailor training content and delivery methods to meet the specific needs and skill levels of diverse audiences including administrators compliance officers risk managers auditors and IT professionals.
  • Practical Exercises: Provide practical exercises to familiarize users with the functionality and navigation of the Diligent One software ensuring they can effectively utilize its features to address their GRC requirements.
  • Stay Updated with Software Updates: Keep abreast of software updates new features and enhancements released by the software vendor and incorporate relevant information into training materials and sessions to ensure users are informed of the latest capabilities.
  • Gather User Feedback: Collect feedback from users regarding their training experience software usability and functionality requirements and communicate insights to the Head of Services.
  • Collaborate with Implementation Teams: Work closely with Diligent One software implementation teams and project managers to ensure seamless transition from implementation to training and provide continuity of support throughout the software lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration or related field.
  • Prior experience in training delivery and instructional design preferably in the GRC software domain.
  • Proficiency in using GRC software solutions such TeamMate BarnOwl CaseWare Idea and familiarity with other relevant tools and platforms.
