Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in designing implementing and maintaining data solutions on AWS cloud platform. This role requires expertise in AWS services Kafka Snowflake and Python programming.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures on AWS cloud platform.
- Implement realtime streaming solutions using Kafka for data ingestion and processing.
- Build and optimize data warehouses on Snowflake for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth functioning.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in data engineering with at least 3 years of handson experience in designing and implementing solutions on AWS.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services such as S3 Redshift Glue EMR Lambda etc.
- Experience with Kafka for realtime data streaming and messaging.
- Proficiency in Snowflake for building and managing data warehouses.
- Advanced programming skills in Python.
- Strong understanding of data modeling ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty AWS Certified Solutions Architect etc.
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark etc.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker Kubernetes etc.
