• Shift timing: and nbsp;18:4507:15 and nbsp;Hours Monday to friday (3 Days/12 Hours)
• Per Week: 36 Hours.
• Unit Capacity: 38 Beds Population Served: Strokes Neurological disorders Brain injuries Brain Tumors Spine Injuries Brain and Spine Surgeries Seizures Epilepsy 3 EMU rooms (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) AMS Dementia Neuropsychology/Behavioral Health Medsurg Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 60) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:6 Core Staffing Plan: Variable staffing grid to include: Registered Nurses (RNs) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team.

Roles and amp; Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for wellcoordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
