CivilLand Development Engineer

Midwest multidisciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Civil/Land Development Engineer to their Houston team!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed design for a variety of projects including potable water and wastewater pipelines drainage systems pumping stations (stormwater wastewater water) hydraulic studies pavement and local roadways
  
• Responsible for the studies/design of wastewater system rehabilitation
  
• Prepare traffic studies/design of roadway pavement condition and rehabilitation widening grading improvements
  
• Hydraulic/hydrologic modeling designs for drainage basins water quality improvement and stormwater collection systems
  
• Prepare master planning reports design and construction documents for potable water stormwater roadway and wastewater projects
  
• Perform analyses using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools
  
• Complete general civil engineering services
  
• Assist with construction engineering services
  
• Assist project engineers/managers as needed
  

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Civil Mechanical Environmental or Transportation Engineering
  
• 5 years of relevant experience
  
• PE License or ability to obtain within six months of hire
  
• Stormwater modeling experience preferred (using ICPR and/or SWMM)
  
• Pressure pipe modeling experience preferred (using Bentley and/or Innovyze products)
  
• Project Manager experience preferred
  
• Ability to travel with own transportation
