Job Summary


The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for implementing maintaining supporting developing the systems and infrastructure of ARCH Office and B&P. The main goal of Infrastructure Engineer II is to ensure the integrity of our systems and infrastructure and to provide maximum performance for the users.

Main Tasks
  • Identify develop and maintain required infrastructure systems and services of the company.
  • Perform rollout in coordination with the support groups.
  • Providing smart hand support i.e. acting as a proxy for a resource who isnt able t perform the tasks him/herself following specific instructions
  • Assists on monitoring IT Infrastructure system 24/5.
  • Implementation and operation of all systems and infrastructures which includes network server services telephony service and system monitoring user support/help desk enddevice management servers storage and related software.
  • Provides technical support of all infrastructure systems and services.
  • Upgrade systems and services to the latest stable firmware releases.
  • Setting up developing and maintaining systems and services within the company and its clients.
  • Provides regular and timely Systems and Services report status.
  • Communicate systems and services event status using established protocols.
  • Generate and manage incidents change and requests within company ITSM portal for proper tracking and handling.
  • Handles Infrastructure level issues escalated by Client Services.
  • Resolve monitored or reported Infrastructure level IT incidents using approved response procedure and escalate incidents via Escalation Protocol if required.
  • Major/Crisis Incident Management: Has the capability to resolve Major/Crisis incident if it falls within troubleshooting responsibilities/capacities.
  • Coordination with Vendors Service Providers and contractors.
  • Provides infrastructure monitoring and support during change implementation.
  • Complete daily operational tasks within the predefined SLA.
  • Drives improvements in processes to Reduce Incident Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean time to Restore (MTTR)

  • Device Management
  • Implementation configuration and monitoring of device management policies set compliance and respond to noncompliance.
  • Conduct testing with updates before releasing.
  • Ensure that tested updates are rolledout to all managed devices.
  • Authentication
  • Create and Manage single sign on and MFA policies with Google and synced applications (Zoho Zoom Ring Central etc)
  • Email and Collaboration Systems
  • Manage support and provide assistance with email routing spam filters email alerts phishing attempts etc.
  • Manage support and provide assistance with email authentication issues email delivery assurance and failures etc.
  • Implement and maintain data loss prevention policies and respond to quarantines
  • Cloud based URL filtering
  • Create manage and support URL filtering SSL certificates and cloud application control
  • Create reports and analyze blocked traffic and traffics that are not captured and blocked
  • Proactively manage identified violators to limit any data loss risks
  • Servers and Domain Management
  • Manage and maintain both prod and test instances of Lightsail servers
  • Get involved with stakeholders and developers testing and deployment for significant and major changes.
  • Monitor and observe resource utilization and manage capacity
  • Monitor and update website certificates
  • Respond to any issues latency downtime resource utilization
  • Ensure that regular backup is running and is available
  • Create and maintain domain records. Ensure domain renewal and security
  • Telephony
  • Manage and maintain VoIP and PBX systems
  • Respond to issues such as call quality call routing call forwarding
Secondary Tasks
  • Compliance Ensure that all policies are enforced and regularly updated as required
  • Ensure that security standards are enforced and any irregularities are captured and responded
  • Perform regular audits to identified departments and campaigns as required
  • Ensure daily operations and troubleshooting documentations are relevant and up to date.
  • Identifies gaps and improvements in processes and protocols.
  • Correlate problems by monitoring tickets event reporting systems and other sources of
  • information to quickly identify/resolve/escalate infrastructure problems.
  • Performs adhoc responsibilities/assignments from time to time



Requirements

  • Diploma or higher in IT related disciplines with minimum 3 years of work experience
  • Holder of CCNA or related certification is preferred
  • Experience with Enterprise and Service Provider platforms and architectures such as Google Workspace Zoho Zscaler PRTG PFSense and Cisco devices.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization skills independent excellent interpersonal skills highly motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Exceptional English communications both written and verbal
  • Must be willing to work in Makati City 24/7 shifting schedule with minimal coverage during holidays and weekends.
  • Must be willing to travel to different sites of Area Creatives Hub Inc. within Makati CBD.
