Technical/Functional Skills

2 years of technician experience.

Automotive experience.

Basic knowledge of Electronics understanding of what/how/why.

Entry level wire harness knowledge Crimping connector types gauge etc.

Exposure to Linux/Shell environments.

Someone that can learn quickly and expand in their knowledge.

Pluses:

Automotive Trade school equivalent training and/or experience.

Automotive and/or electronics diagnostics experience.

Basic Fabrication Skills Cutting metal/wood using power tools to make simple parts.

Familiar with electronic design oscilloscope usage DMM measurements.

Roles & Responsibilities HW Technician

Flexible and selfmotivated technician to support Hardware Engineering.

Scope:

Collaborate on & assemble test platforms Create the Stuff that enables HW to be utilized in a lab. Including but not limited to Fixturing wiring cooling.

Design/assemble wire harnesses.

Capture escalate & diagnose HW & SW issues encountered when commissioning & maintaining test platforms.
