Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and skilled Commercial Tile Setters to join our team in Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial tile setting including expertise in installing various types of tile such as ceramic porcelain natural stone and mosaic. This position will involve working on a variety of commercial projects including offices restaurants hotels and healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities:
Install and set commercial tiles accurately and efficiently according to project specifications and industry standards.
Prepare surfaces for tile installation including proper substrate preparation and layout planning.
Cut and shape tiles to fit around obstacles and into corners ensuring precise and seamless installation.
Apply grout and sealant to fill gaps and ensure a finished polished look.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Communicate effectively with project managers clients and team members to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial tile setting.
Proficiency in installing various types of tile including ceramic porcelain natural stone and mosaic.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce highquality workmanship.
Knowledge of tile setting tools equipment and techniques.
Have own hand tools for setting tile
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends as needed.
