A Radiographer also known as a radiologic technologist is a medical professional who uses imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients internal structures. These images are used by doctors to diagnose and treat diseases injuries and other medical conditions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and answer any questions they may have.
- Position patients for imaging exams.
- Operate imaging equipment such as Xray machines MRI scanners and CT scanners.
- Produce highquality diagnostic images.
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment.
- Produce highquality diagnostic images.
