Overview:

The Property Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations and management of a property. They are responsible for maintaining the propertys value and ensuring efficient operation while also fostering positive tenant relations and maximizing income. This position is crucial in upholding the propertys reputation and longterm success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the propertys operations and financial activities
  • Develop and implement property budgets ensuring expenses are in line with the budget
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs to uphold the propertys condition and value
  • Market and lease available units to prospective tenants
  • Respond to tenant inquiries complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct regular property inspections and address any safety or maintenance concerns
  • Negotiate and enforce leases and ensure rent collection is completed promptly
  • Collaborate with vendors contractors and service providers to maintain the property
  • Implement and enforce property rules regulations and policies
  • Keep abreast of market trends and competition to make informed business decisions
  • Prepare and present regular reports on property performance and financial activities
  • Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations and laws
  • Foster positive tenant relations and provide excellent customer service
  • Handle evictions and legal matters in accordance with applicable laws
  • Contribute to the development and execution of property strategies and initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Property Management Business Administration or related field
  • Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role
  • Strong understanding of property management principles and practices
  • Proficient in property management software and financial management tools
  • Excellent knowledge of local state and federal housing laws and regulations
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate and resolve conflicts
  • Solid understanding of property maintenance
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Detailoriented and resultsdriven with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Proven track record of successful tenant management and retention
  • Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions
  • Availability to respond to afterhours emergencies and events
