Our client is the foremost luxury goods company in Nigeria with a diversified portfolio that consist of over 13 of the worlds most prestigious luxury brands. They are looking to fill the role of a Head of Human Resource.

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR department including Recruitment Employee Relations Workforce Administration Employee Engagement Payroll Reward and Recognition as well as maintaining and improving HR systems and management of the HR budget.
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
  • Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
  • Ensure the organization s compliance with local state and federal regulations
  • Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
  • Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.

Requirements

  • B.Sc degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • A minimum 5 years experience in a HR role.
  • A minimum 3 years experience in a management role.
  • Goods knowledge and use of Microsoft Office packages & ERP systems (Knowledge of Navision& SharePoint will be an added advantage).
  • Handson experience with HR software.
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
