Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement visual and interactive elements that engage customers
• Customize Shopify themes and create custom web functionality using Liquid HTML CSS and JavaScript
• Optimize website performance and user experience ensuring mobile responsiveness and crossbrowser compatibility
• Integrate thirdparty apps and plugins to enhance site functionality
• Manage product information inventory and orders within the Shopify platform
• Conduct website testing troubleshooting and debugging
• Stay updated on Shopify and ecommerce industry trends to implement best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Execute SEO best practices to improve the websites search engine visibility
• Monitor site security and implement necessary measures to protect customer data
• Provide technical support and training to staff on using the Shopify platform
• Participate in the planning and execution of website updates and redesigns
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of ecommerce processes and strategies
• Generate and analyze reports on website performance and user behavior
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR and PCI

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Web Development or a related field
• Proven experience as a Shopify developer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating language
• Strong understanding of frontend technologies including HTML CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and concepts
• Ability to customize and maintain Shopify themes and plugins
• Knowledge of web analytics and SEO principles
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Understanding of web security best practices
• Experience in integrating thirdparty APIs and applications
• Detailoriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies
