Our team is growing and we are looking for a DevOps expert with solid experience in developing and supporting different applications in Risk Management.

On this role you would also have the chance to cover the whole IT chain from business analyses and defining IT requirements; through implementation development and testing; to golive and operational support.

The main projects you can expect to be involved from the getgo are the agile development of business & technical requirements in our current DHW and Credit Risk solutions.

What you will do

• Proactively support the Head of ETRM Risk & Regulatory in achieving departmental goals taking on special tasks
• Become a subject matter expert in the Axpo Solutions business intelligence domain with specific focus on the areas of market risk credit risk master data management and regulatory reporting and be able to drive innovation creativity and optimization
• Deliver an endtoend delivery service on SRs assigned personally and be capable of performing all roles within the development lifecycle from requirements gathering and specification through to development test coordination and release management
• Provide QA and best practice guidance for solution design and development by allocated resources participating in the Axpo Solutions TIM Design Authority for BI relevant topics
• Ensure compliance with Axpo ITSM processes quality standards and active promotion of quality awareness in area of responsibility for example coordination and conducting module integration and acceptances tests operative change request management in particular for introduction of new software releases
• Planning managing controlling and coordinating tasks for provision development and maintenance of applications in the BI area
• Develop and promote industry standard processes and technologies within the Axpo Group
• Assume responsibility for all system documentation in area of responsibility
• Provide 1st 2nd and 3rd level support for various applications and interfaces active support in system maintenance in particular for applications that have been developed inhouse
• Act as an interface between business and support divisions and Trading IM and external suppliers participating in engagement meetings with end users and Axpo Solutions management
• Compliance and promotion of clear transparent inter and intracommunication structures

What you bring & who you are

• Degree in information science finance or engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Knowledge of programming languages (.Net Java C#) and experience working with APIs
• Knowledge and experience working with at least one front to back trading and risk management platform (e.g. Endur Murex Brady Allegro)
• Solid understanding of RDBMS technologies ETL DWH BI tools (e.g. Power BI) and data mining concepts
• Nice to have: background in Energy Trading/Risk Management; businessanalysis knowhow; experience with Azure DWH and Oracle DB
• Social teamplayer and analytical skills
• Fluency in English; Spanish or German is an advantage
