Join our team at Volkswind France as an experienced Legal Counsel and become a pivotal part of the Axpo Group a leading energy company.Your workplace can be at one of Volkswinds sites in France in Limoges Tours or Paris.

As part of Axpos international legal team you will be responsible for all legal matters related to the project development activities of Volkswind France. You will navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes work directly with the project teams and influence key decisions of the Volkswind Group in a dynamic environment.

Your expertise will help guiding Axpos journey towards a sustainable energy future making a significant impact in an industry that is shaping the world. What you will do:

• Analyse draft and negotiate a variety of contracts and corporate documents including MoUs Joint Venture Agreements SHAs Lease Agreements and Development Service Agreements.
• Aid our development teams in securing land plots and grid access support the permitting processand establishing corporate structures focusing on JointVentures structures PublicPrivate Partnerships and citizen coinvestments.
• Assess and provide solutions to contractual financial and regulatory risks.
• Work closely with the Volkswind teams in France and Germany and with Axpos renewable energy project development units in Europe as well as with Axpos international legal team.
• Monitor and analyse regulatory developments and jurisprudence advising on impacts and necessary measures.
• Serve as the main point of contact for external lawyers in managing specific disputes.

What you bring & who you are:

• French Masters degree in Lawand admission to the bar.
• 3 5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment as an inhouse legal counsel or in a law firm.
• Experience in the areas of contract law administrative law EU law energy market regulation planning and construction law and environmental law is a plus.
• High proficiency in English for contract drafting and negotiating.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills alongside excellent writing and analytical abilities.
• Meticulous autonomous and organized work ethic with a strong sense of teamwork and confidentiality.
