Were seeking Site Reliability Engineers to enhance our platform. Responsibilities include ensuring the availability and reliability of critical services maintaining sustainable production systems and driving continuous improvement efforts. This role involves close collaboration with Senior SREs Platform Engineers and DevOps Engineers in an agile team environment. Join us in improving reliability quality and timetomarket.

What you will do:

• Monitor and Ensure Stability: Ensure stable operation of the production environment by monitoring availability and assessing system health comprehensively.
• Automation: Aid in automating systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
• Improve Reliability and TimetoMarket: Contribute to enhancing the reliability quality and timetomarket of systems platforms and applications used in Axpo.
• Change Management: Plan and execute changes in compliance with implementation guidelines and specified IT processes coordinating with the business and suppliers following ITSM processes.
• Performance Optimization and Collaboration: Measure and optimize system performance to drive capabilities anticipate customer needs and innovate for continuous improvement. Collaborate with development teams (DevOps) to enhance services through consistent testing and release procedures.

What you bring & who you are:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field is required.
• Several years of experience (3 years) working in larger and complex IT environments preferably in agile teams.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as PowerShell Python JavaScript Java or PHP.
• Familiarity with markup languages like JSON XML or YAML and technologies like REST.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices such as continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) version control (preferably Git) automation practices like Infrastructure as Code and cloud knowledge (particularly Azure).
