As a Certified Medical Assistant at our client you will manage customer flow throughout the clinic assist providers in the management and treatment of customers and ensure collaborative supportive and delegated tasks are completed.
Key Responsibilities
Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of customer flow throughout the clinic.
Provide support to the clinic including front desk/checkin support ordering and stocking supplies and assistance with prior authorizations.
Demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the NMH Medical Assistant scope of Practice.
Schedule and Shift Details
Days 7:30 AM 5:00 PM 80 Hours Per Pay Period
Requirements
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:
High School/GED
Medical Assistant (1 years)
Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

Required skills & experience: 1) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. 2) Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of LA (or other NLC state). 3) 2+ years previous experience working in care management and/or with CKD/ESRD patients is preferred. 4) Ability to take call remotely on some nights and weekends 5) Must have Home Health and/or Hospice experience. Preferred 2+ years experience in any of the following: Dialysis Care Home Health Care Hospice Case Management (CM)
