Title : Technical Analyst/Cloud Engineering

Note : This position is a remote position and are onsite only when needed.

Job Description :

• Technical analyst (Cloud Engineer) will provide technical cloud engineering subject matter expertise for multiple technology projects in support of the hosted cloud applications.
  
• Responsibilities include designing the cloud infrastructure designing the cloud application architecture and designing the cloud security architecture and ensuring project compliance with IT security policies best practices and branch standards.
  
• This position will work with Judicial Council staff IT staff and management and cloud technology vendors to plan design build implement and support new and existing cloud hosting services.
  
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology or relevant field.
  
• Minimum of 510 years technical experience designing executing configuring supporting and troubleshooting cloud solutions.
  
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies cloud service providers and current cloud computing trends.
  
• Experience in various infrastructure migration techniques tools and methodologies including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
  
• Experience in the identification and recommendation of top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of an organization.
  
• Microsoft certification AWS certification
  
• Experience working on multiple simultaneous IT projects throughout the entire life cycle.
  
• Experience managing technical projects including conflict resolution issue escalations status reporting and resource management.
  

Knowledgeable of enterprise network infrastructure design concepts such as:

• Client / server system architecture
  
• System security policies and procedures
  
• Data center technology infrastructure
  
• Multivendor platform integration
  
• PKI administration
  
• Infrastructure capacity planning
  
• Networking concepts: routing switching security remote access proxy
  
• Cloud hosting solutions and migration to cloud services
  
• Ability to convert business requirements into a technical design and implementation plan.
  
• Ability to analyze issues from system documentation and recommend solutions.
  
• High level of technical writing experience.
  
• Excellent oral written analytical and communication skills with the ability to lead a technical discussion to both technical and nontechnical staff.
  
• Excellent presentation skills for both technical and nontechnical audiences including creating and presenting executive summaries to management and technical committees.
  

Additional Skills/Qualifications Desired:

• Professional certification with one of the Cloud Service Providers (CSP) to include but not limited to AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
  
• Working knowledge of the various cloud service provider access and service portals.
  
• Expertise in the following operating systems: Linux (Red Hat) Unix Windows.
  
• Expert level understanding of networking: TCP/IP IP addresses HTTP DNS cloud connectivity access solutions.
  
• At least a minimum of five (5) years experience with a programming or scripting language.
  
• Understanding of cloud exchange solutions.
  
• High level understanding of key security concepts for firewalls network security server security and security tools such as Crowd Strike and Fortinet.
  
• Prior technical cloud engineering experience working with local state or federal government entities.
  
• Cloud Architect Certification with Cloud Service Provider (CSP).
  
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  
• ITIL4 certification

ASP.NET (4.6+) with MVC and/or Razor pages, C#, .Net Core 3+ and/or .Net 6 Programming VB.Net and MSMQ HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Angular JS/6 + .Net Core 3+, .Net 6 RESTful APIs and SOAP Services Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming and batch processing Customer focus, creative problem solving, and interpersonal skills is a MUST Experience working with custom software solutions and customer programs for utilities industry is a plus. Experience with python programming is a plus. Experience with Production Control/support process and best practices and enterprise job scheduling tools like UC4 Automic is a plus. Experience interfacing with enterprise application systems like Oracle C2M and Oracle Financial, ESRI/GIS as well as upgrading applications to .Net 6 and above is a plus
