Civil Engineer

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Performing site investigations and analyzing data (maps reports tests drawings and other sources)
• Preparing engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD and other software
• Managing and supervising construction projects including overseeing contractors and subcontractors
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards
• Collaborating with architects contractors and other professionals to ensure project success
• Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for construction projects
• Developing project specifications and tender documents
• Providing technical advice and solving design and construction problems
• Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications
• Managing project budgets and resources effectively
• Analyzing and interpreting data to inform decision making
• Preparing reports proposals and documentation
• Participating in project meetings and presenting progress reports to stakeholders
• Monitoring and implementing environmental protection measures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
• Proven experience in civil engineering construction or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
• Strong understanding of construction processes and materials
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings and designs
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and building codes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of environmental and sustainability practices
