The client is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians on NIGHT SHIFT! The Electrical Maintenance Technician will:

• Perform regular and preventative maintenance on installed electromechanical equipment and effectively troubleshoot complex problems associated with electromechanical machinery and systems.
• Analyze test results machine error messages and information obtained from operators to diagnose and repair.
• Be a valued member of the maintenance team interacting with production industrial maintenance and crossfunctionally to ensure reliability of equipment service safety and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Three plus years electrical maintenance experience in heavy industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge and experience with industrial electronics AC/DC theory power transmission test instruments and instrumentation VFDs PLCs ladder logic relay logic hydraulic and pneumatic systems motor controls and electrical construction.
• Ability to install troubleshoot and maintain a wide variety of industrial equipment using schematic diagrams and equipment manuals as guides.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe working behaviors including lockout fall protection confined space and mobile equipment operation.
• Great teamwork problemsolving organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship Journeyman Certification or equivalent work experience.
• Steel industry experience.
• Welding and light fabrication experience.
• Experience with industrial communication networks (Profibus Profinet Ethernet).
• Experience with Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control loops and combustion controls.
• Basic understanding of mechanical devices.
• Strong communication skills and familiarity working in a teambased environment.
• Safety awareness training.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities: (Hiring Companies ATS Questions):

2. Do you have 3 years electrical maintenance experience in heavy industrial environment.

3. Do you have experience with industrial electronics AC/DC theory power transmission test instruments and instrumentation VFDs PLCs ladder logic relay logic hydraulic and pneumatic systems motor controls and electrical construction.

4. Do you have a Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship Journeyman Certification or equivalent work experience. NICE TO HAVE

5. Do you have Steel industry experience. NICE TO HAVE

6. Do you have Welding and light fabrication experience. NICE TO HAVE

7. Do you have experience with industrial communication networks (Profibus Profinet Ethernet). NICE TO HAVE
