Power BI Specialist

Experience: 12 to 18 years

Job description:

Strong proficiency with Power BI including Power Query Power Pivot DAX Data visualization best practices Solutioning & Data Architecture of Power BI Projects.

Expert in using advancedlevel calculations on the data set using Power Query.

Oversee the design development and implementation of largescale Power BI projects.

Ensure projects align with business goals and are delivered on time and within budget.

Oversee the structure & management of database to ensure data integrity accessibility & scalability.

Experience with cloud computing particularly Microsoft Azure is a plus.

Create visual interactive reports & dashboards using Power BI and create well performing applications using Power Apps.

Understand business requirements and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights.

To be able to convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks.

Experience in developing publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.

Capable of implementing rowlevel security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.

Connecting data sources importing data and transforming data based on the needs.

Collaborate with IT team to optimize data storage & retrieval.

Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand business needs & deliver relevant data insights.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels translating complex technical details into business language.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align project goals and strategies.

Lead and mentor diverse teams fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Manage team dynamics and performance across multiple geographies.

Foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes continuous learning & professional growth.

Experience with SQL and relational databases.

Experience working with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or QlikView is a plus
