The position will focus on teaching the basic skills necessary for ideation and exploration of form structure and problem-solving techniques in two- and three-dimensional designs. The applicant should be experienced in product design in terms of aesthetic fundamentals, form creation processes and ergonomics. Within this context, the applicant will also teach the process of design through experimenting, researching and linking the design concept and its materialization. The candidate should have a previous professional experience in the field of product design and instructional experience in academic or professional institutions. The candidate should be interested in design research and should be eager to develop a research cluster as well as to supervise master theses.
