Job Cost Accountant

Job Cost Accountant needs 5 years experience in accounting or related field

Job Cost Accountant requires:

Hybrid with 3 days onsite either Monday or Friday.

Bachelors degree in accounting

MBA or CPA

Inventory and job costing experience required.

Some supervision experiences required.

Experience with ERP ledgers systems is preferred (Oracle SAP)

Strong fundamentals in accounting and US GAAP.

Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley requirements and assist in maintaining those controls.

Job Cost Accountant duties:

Reconcile complex general ledger accounts monthly including research and resolution of discrepancies.

Reconcile subledgers to GL as required. Maintain and enhance financial systems and reporting mechanisms.

Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting schedules.

Participate in month end quarter end and year end closings.
