We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Anesthesiologist (Cardiac) to join our team at Travel Hire in Albany NY. As a leading healthcare staffing agency we specialize in providing topnotch medical professionals for shortterm and longterm assignments across the country.

In this role you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing cardiac procedures including open heart surgery heart transplants and other complex procedures. You will work closely with a team of surgeons nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and comfort of patients during surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing cardiac procedures including open heart surgery heart transplants and other complex procedures

Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed

Collaborate with surgeons nurses and other healthcare professionals to create an individualized anesthesia plan for each patient

Ensure patients are comfortable and safe during surgery by closely monitoring their condition and responding to any changes or emergencies

Provide postoperative pain management and monitor patients in the recovery room

Maintain accurate and detailed records of anesthesia administration and patient progress

Stay uptodate with advancements in anesthesia techniques and equipment

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine

Board certification in Anesthesiology

Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia

Active medical license in the state of New York

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physician Anesthesiologist with a focus on cardiac procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment

Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills

Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare facilities
