Position Overview

Our Client is seeking a Sr. Java Fullstack Developer to support a Flagship contract with the ability to Architect design implement test and deliver highly scalable products. This role would require the ability to master our development process culture and code base then improve it. This role would be based in the DC Metro area and operate on east coast hours.

This role is Hybrid with an Onsite requirement are three days a week in Herndon VA.

Responsibilities:

• Architect design implement test and deliver highly scalable products.
• Master our development process culture and code base then improve it
• Six (6 years) experience setting up and working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments especially AWS Lambda and other serverless technologies.
• Operate optimally in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are encouraged to be able to craft and complete the vital work to ensure quality in their own code as well as other engineers.
• Utilize programming languages like Java Spring Spring boot and NoSQL databases and a variety of AWS tools and services.
• Experience with Front end Technologies Such as React and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with Databases design (SQL NoSQL) and analytics
• Mentor others in development technologies tools and processes
• Experience with Agile software development and testdriven development.
