Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Nursing

Job Title: Registered Nurse Intermediate Care

Location: Utica New York

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: Days/Nights

Pay: $75 $80/Hourly (Depending Upon Experience)

NOTE: Candidates should be outside 75mile radius of the facility location.

Responsibilities:

• Assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care for intermediate care patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patients vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications:

• 75 MILE RADIUS RULE
• Valid Registered Nurse license
• Neuro/Medical Cardiothoracic Surgical/Trauma
• 2 years experience required
• MUST HAVE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE!
• ACLS BLS NIHSS required
• NY license in hand
• EPIC required
• May be required to float to other units
• Common patient diagnosis: Neuro Cardiac Trauma Resp: COPD DKA Sepsis MI CV stepdown post op
