Job Summary:
The overall purpose of the AST Housing Officer role is to deliver an integrated generic housing service to tenants and leasehold customers and to work closely with other teams councillors and Tenants & Residents Associations to achieve sustainable tenancies in sustainable communities.
To provide a proactive and customer focused housing management service across a designated area and to ensure that the Council fulfils its legal and contractual obligations to tenants and leaseholders.
Key Duties/Accountabilities:
Deliver key housing management services to a high standard ensuring that activities are delivered on time
To maintain a presence on the estate for a minimum of 21 hours per week becoming mainstay of the community and a reassuring presence for residents
Hold partner agencies to account for example Serco & Pinnacle by proactive monitoring and reporting of noncompliance with their service level agreements.
Essential Experience Required:
Demonstrable experience of effective working partnerships with multiagencies local residents environmental community groups and police within a performance based environment.
Experience of managing casework and following these through successfully
Experience of resolving queries providing advice and support to customers including the analysis of information to enable informed decisionmaking.
Essential Qualifications Required:
Educated to NQF level 3 (e.g. A
level/BTEC National Diploma NVQ level 3) or has equivalent demonstrable experience
