We are a startup and growing pretty quickly. Weve outsourced our IT admin so far and its time to bring it inhouse.
So we need you to come in and set up our systems and processes from onboarding to daytoday maintenance and offboarding. There is quite a lot to take care of at first but you will have things running like clockwork in no time!
To suit this role youll need a couple of years of experience in a similar job. You dont have to have set up systems from scratch before but you will have at least been a part of that process.
The team structure:
This one is a bit different. You would be joining a team made up of the Chief People Officer and our HR Generalist. As already mentioned this role is fairly standalone work. Youll be taking over from our outsourcing partner and building out our own inhouse function from scratch.

We are growing quickly so you will have plenty of opportunity to progress. You could lead a small IT admin team pivot to customer support or move into DevOps; the options are varied and here to match your goals.
OK so we heard IT people like lists and lots of information so here is a bunch of stuff you can expect to be doing in this role:
User Support:
Provide technical assistance and support to endusers regarding hardware software network and other ITrelated issues
Respond to user inquiries via email phone or in person and resolve technical problems efficiently
System Maintenance:
To ensure the security and performance of IT systems perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates system patches and antivirus scans
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance
Network Administration:
Assist in administrating and maintaining the organizations network infrastructure including routers switches firewalls and wireless access points
Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity issues for users and devices
Hardware and Software Management:
Install configure and maintain hardware devices such as desktops laptops printers and servers
Install and update software applications and operating systems as needed ensuring compatibility and compliance with licensing agreements
Data Backup and Recovery:
Implement and manage data backup and recovery procedures to protect against data loss and ensure business continuity
Test backup systems regularly and perform data restores when necessary
Security Management:
Assist in implementing and enforcing IT security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized access malware and other security threats
Monitor security logs and conduct security audits to identify and mitigate potential risks
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides
Generate reports on IT metrics such as system performance incident response times and security incidents
IT Project Support:
Assist in the planning implementation and execution of IT projects such as system upgrades migrations and deployments
Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Vendor Management:
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for procurement maintenance and support of IT equipment and services
Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure compliance and satisfactory service delivery
Training and Knowledge Sharing:
Provide training and guidance to endusers on IT tools systems and best practices
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends through selflearning and professional development activities
