We are looking a for a Quantity Surveyor to provide an endtoend service including precontract and postcontract duties predominantly on NEC4 ECC contracts based out of our Wolverhampton office. Ideally you will have relevant experience within the telecommunications infrastructure construction or rail industries running your own projects.
Responsibilities and duties
Management of daytoday commercial and contract activities
Pricing works using a Schedule of Rates (NEC4)
Pricing works using activity schedules (NEC4)
Contract administration
Compiling Applications for Payment
Subcontractor Application for Payment assessment
Preparing the quotations of compensation events
Assessment of compensation events from subcontractors
Commercial cost reporting
Cash flow forecasting
Final accounting
Procurement of subcontractors and services
Remeasuring and quantification of onsite works
Weekly site visits
Pricing works using a Schedule of Rates (NEC4)
Pricing works using activity schedules (NEC4)
Contract administration

Requirements
- A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification and/or sufficient experience
- A working knowledge of NEC4 conditions of contract
- Ability to undertake site remeasures if required
- Ability to work with high volumes of work within prescribed timescales
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- A good working knowledge of the Construction Act
- Strong excel/IT skills
- Knowledge of the telecommunications infrastructure industry
- Working knowledge of CEMAR
