Lakeside HR Group has been engage by our client to recruit for a Quality Manager to join their Havana office in Denver CO. They are looking for an individual who has experience in Commercial Construction Aviation and Healthcare a plus.
They are an experienced commercial construction company that has over 30 years’ experience in the industry. They were founded in 2018 and have had the pleasure of working on substantial projects such as the Southlands Mall and Gaylord Hotel. Additionally they have a substantial market share in the healthcare and aviation networks within Colorado. They hold many exciting contracts for 2024 and beyond.

More Specific Duties and Responsibilities include:
They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join their dynamic team in the field of commercial construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects meet and exceed industry quality standards regulatory requirements and client expectations. The Quality Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our reputation for delivering highquality safe and successful construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance program for all construction projects.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
    • Collaborate with project teams to identify and address potential quality issues during the planning and execution phases.
  2. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay abreast of industry regulations building codes and quality standards to ensure all projects are in compliance.
    • Work closely with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
    • Develop and maintain a system for tracking and documenting compliance with relevant regulations.
  3. Quality Control:
    • Establish and enforce quality control processes to monitor construction activities and identify deviations from established standards.
    • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address quality issues promptly.
    • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure effective communication and resolution of qualityrelated concerns.
  4. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality inspections tests and corrective actions taken.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports for project stakeholders highlighting quality performance areas of improvement and compliance status.
    • Ensure that all qualityrelated documentation is organized easily accessible and in accordance with project requirements.
  5. Training and Development:
    • Conduct training programs for project teams to enhance awareness and understanding of quality standards and processes.
    • Provide guidance and support to project personnel to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  6. Supplier and Subcontractor Quality Management:
    • Evaluate and qualify suppliers and subcontractors based on quality performance.
    • Collaborate with procurement to establish and monitor quality requirements for materials and services.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the commercial construction industry.
  • Indepth knowledge of construction quality standards regulations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g. ISO 9001) is a plus.
