We are looking for Mechanical Design EngineerChennai Onsite with 3 to 8 Yrs of Experience for our esteemed client for Chennai Location.
Key Skills: Creo Creo simulation Windchill Gas Turbine simulations
Note: Minimum Experience is 3 Years. Kindly do not apply if you don t meet the minimum experience.
Note: Candidate shall be willing to work at customer location.

Roles and Responsibilities
This role will need the person to investigate the Engineering Change Requests or product improvement projects.
He/she will provide resolutions for the same by working with the design and manufacturing teams.
He/she would additionally support the entire team in creating complex 3D models and would be primarily responsible for Windchillrelated activities.
This role has a minor crossfunctional responsibility. We are looking to hire an engineer to design components for Industrial Gas Turbines. The
Candidate should be able to work in an interdisciplinary team to design parts by collating ideas and making decisions using first principle thinking. The candidate must be willing to work on a wide variety of product development tasks such as design simulation testing CPPD DFMEA PPAP etc.
Design products for Gas Turbines based on field issues manufacturing issues simulation test data etc
Refine and improve product designs by conducting rootcause analyses and provide resolutions
Use geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) to determine tolerances of key components
Derive simulation methods to understand if design meets pass/fail criteria
Determine critical influencing parameters
Support/conduct design reviews for components
Support the team with 3D model creation
Support product development tasks such as supporting product quality improvements supplier PPAPs and corrective actions.
This may not be a clientfacing role to begin with but can mature into a clientfacing role. This role has a minor crossfunctional responsibility (23 teams).
Requirements
B.E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited engineering college with 3 years of product development experience
M.E. / M. Tech in Mechanical engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited engineering college with 2 years of product development experience
Strong in first principle thinking
Clarity of thought and good communication skills should be able to explain & present his/her ideas
Excellent understanding of engineering basics (mechanics GD&T Tolerance Stackup)
Good in design concepting and parametric modelling
Worked on failure analysis or root cause identification
Tool knowledge Expert in Creo Windchill
Basic manufacturing knowledge
Preferred requirements are:
Good in basic simulations (FEA / CFD)
Basic experience in data analytics for engineering applications (test / simulation / sensor data)
Worked in manufacturing or production environment
Basic knowledge of materials
Creation of basic Model Based Definitions drawings
Tool knowledge aPrioiri ANSYS PowerBI Tableau Minita
