Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluating and diagnosing urological conditions and diseases.
• Performing surgical procedures related to urology.
• Discussing treatment options and procedures with patients.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds and biopsies.
• Collaborating with other medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Keeping detailed medical records of patients diagnoses treatments and progress.
• Participating in research and continuing medical education to stay current with urological advancements.
• Providing consultations to patients referred by other healthcare providers.
• Adhering to ethical and professional standards in urological practice.
• Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
• Developing and implementing urological care plans tailored to each patients needs.
• Providing education and counseling to patients and their families regarding urological conditions and treatment options.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Participating in oncall rotations to address urological emergencies.

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a urology residency program.
• Licensure as a urologist in the state of practice.
• Board certification in urology.
• Demonstrated surgical skills in urological procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
