HydrologicHydraulic Modeling Engineer Lead

Responsibilities:

• Lead Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeling and Engineering Projects
  
• Ensure that standard of highlevel technical engineering modeling design and execution are met
  
• Use technical expertise to advance company position in the modeling industry (automation data creation data science and GISbased technology)
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  
• Build/maintain client relationships
  

Requirements:

• MS or PhD in engineering
  
• 8 years of intensive H&H modeling expertise
  
• PE License
  
• Largescale watershed modeling including probabilistic modeling (stochastic modeling)
  
• FEMA modeling local watershed modeling design modeling and postdisaster modeling (postfire experience preferred but not required)
  
• GIS experience with modeling mapping and the use of automation for model setup analysis and data creation.
  
• FEMA 1D modeling meeting requirements for CLOMR/LOMR and RiskMAP requirements
  
• Bridge scour analysis and sizing
  
• 2D Models HECRAS 2D SRH2D FLO2D
  
• Knowledge/understanding of model calibration using various methodologies and Rainongrid expertise
  
• Combined surface 2D/underground 1D integrated stormwater modeling
  
• FEMA baselevel engineering experience preferred
  
• Hydraulic modeling experience with SWMM (and CUHP if local to Colorado) HECHMS use of WMS for model creation and setup and PCSWMM and GIS integrated modeling
  
• Water quality modeling at local and watershed scales preferred
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
