About Us:

Chainway Labs is a pioneering blockchain infrastructure company dedicated to advancing Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Zero Knowledge technology. Our current focus is on developing Bitcoin's inaugural ZK rollup - Citrea. We are now seeking for a Senior Protocol Engineer. The ideal applicant will possess substantial experience using Rust for the development of distributed systems. Familiarity with the Ethereum protocol, rollups, and the Bitcoin protocol will be advantageous.

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in protocol development.
  • Proven expertise in creating production-ready systems using Rust, Go, or C++.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • An aptitude for quick thinking, problem-solving, and clearly and effectively expressing solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in systems programming.
  • Familiarity with Blockchain protocol architectures.
  • Knowledge of the Bitcoin, Lightning Network, and Ethereum rollups, especially ZK rollups.
  • Previous experience in a start-up environment or a demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit.
