As a Video Editor you will be tasked with the creative process of manipulating and editing film video footage to craft a seamless and engaging timeline for the audience. • BS degree in film studies cinematography or related field (preferred).
  
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
  
• Solid experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (Mandatory).
  
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
  
• Exceptional grammar research factchecking writing and editing skills.
  
• Excellent communication interpersonal presentation and organizational skills.
  
• Strong ability to achieve results in a timely manner.

• Manipulate and edit film video footage to create a cohesive timeline for the audience.
  
• Understand the brief provided to grasp Marketing s needs and specifications.
  
• Review shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value and contribution to continuity.
  
• Trim footage segments and assemble the sequence of the film.
  
• Input music dialogues graphics and effects.
  
• Create rough and final cuts.
  
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
  
• Improve audio quality by cleaning up speaking in the video where required.
  
• Create subtitles intros and outros.
  
• Generate thumbnails.
  
• Consult with stakeholders throughout the production to postproduction process.
  
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
  
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.
