Overview:

The Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth for our Edtech platform. This position is remote and reports directly to the Sales Director. The Sales Manager will lead a team of sales representatives and work closely with the marketing team to identify and capitalize on business opportunities within the Edtech industry.

Note: THis is an equity based rone only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets
  • Lead mentor and train the sales team to drive performance and meet objectives
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners in the Edtech sector
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify potential sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and KPIs
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact sales success
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to promote the companys products and services
  • Stay updated on industry developments and competitors activities
  • Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure timely followups with potential clients
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to the sales team
  • Ensure adherence to sales policies procedures and best practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer experience and drive retention
  • Contribute to the development of sales and marketing collateral
  • Manage budget and resources effectively to maximize sales results

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience in sales and management particularly in the Edtech industry
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of Edtech products services and market trends
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed business decisions
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving capabilities
  • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and effectively manage a distributed team
  • Flexibility to travel for business needs including industry events and client meetings
  • Proactive and resultsoriented mindset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
